Receptionist

Reception is often the first point of contact for all guests, either on the telephone, email or face to face.  You will be a people person and enjoy interacting with guests to make them feel welcome.  You will also need to be patient, understanding and be willing to listen.  

Summary Responsibilities:

  • To provide a warm welcome to all guests and assist them in a courteous, helpful manner with registration and when checking out of the hotel.
  • To operate the hotel switchboard, answering it to the company standard.
  • To deal with guest enquiries, either by fax, telephone, letter or verbally.
  • To ensure high standards of service are maintained in reception.
  • To ensure the hotels Property Management system (PMS) is being used correctly, effectively and managed on a daily basis.
  • To assist the Reservations Manager with group & tour business by preparing welcome packs, acting as host when coaches arrive and helping guests and colleagues with luggage.
  • To monitor all guest accounts, ensuring all charges are posted correctly with supporting documentation and that the hotels systems, procedures and controls are followed.

This is a full time position consisting of evenings, weekends and Duty Management.

F&B Supervisor

A fantastic opportunity for a driven individual who is passionate about customer care, totally committed and eager to progress into management within 2 years.  This role is ideally suited to an individual that has at least 12 months experience in a similar environment.  This role includes the additional responsibility of duty management.

Sous Chef

We are now looking for a Chef de Partie to help take our business forward. To succeed, the candidate should lead by example, be passionate, creative and willing to “go the extra mile”. You will be able to produce food of a consistently high standard, and be confident in all aspects of food preparation and service.

The Chef de Partie is required to have the willingness to learn from more experienced chefs as well as passing on knowledge to junior members of the team.

Summary Responsibilities:

  • Previous experience in a busy, similar environment
  • Experience working with fresh food
  • A friendly and approachable persona is an absolute must
  • Up to date food hygiene and NVQ certificates
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Driven and self-motivated

This is a full time position consisting of evenings, weekends.  Shifts are a mixture of breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Bar Team Members – Casual 

Various shift available, evenings and weekends predominately.  You will be working as part of a team on one/both of our busy bars.  Shifts typically commence at 6.00pm and finish at 11.00pm.  Duties include pre-service preparation, cleaning down tables, serving drinks and food along with clearing down before going off duty.  We really do believe that the customer is ‘king’ and expect you to deliver outstanding customer service.

Restaurant & Banqueting Team Members – Casual 

Various shift available, breakfast, lunch, evenings and weekends. You will be working as part of a team in both our Lakeside Restaurant and banqueting operation (weddings and private functions).  Duties include pre-service preparation, taking food order, serving meals, clearing down tables and re-setting for the next day/shift before going off duty.  We really do believe that the customer is ‘king’ and expect you to deliver outstanding customer service.
