Our Head Chef, Rose McClean Johnson has been with us for 9 years and in that time has built up an enviable local reputation for quality and imaginative food along with a loyal kitchen brigade. Rose’s career spans over 26 years working in a range of high quality hotels and was encouraged from an early age to cook all styles of food; from rustic through to French cuisine. To this day she still cooks with the same commitment she began with .
When asked what’s the best thing about being a chef? Rose says;
“Creating dishes from the simplest of ingredients. Knowing I have provided diners with good food, and that they have eaten food prepared with care and attention. These are the best things about being a chef”
Our new menu is launched on Monday 3rd February, in the meantime our daily dinner menu is available at £22.50 for 3 courses.
