Reception Manager

We are looking to strengthen our front of house team with a Reception Manager who will assist with the day to day running of the department.  You will already be working as a Head Receptionist or Assistant Reception Manager.  Applications are also encouraged from M&E personnel that fit the key requirements below.

Coach parties make up a significant proportion of our rooms business and you must be able to manage and liaise with tour operators to ensure that all bookings are managed efficiently.

Additionally we have a small, but perfectly formed M&E department which requires support and guidance from the senior team.  You will work alongside the Front of House Manager to provide cover and assistance as and when required.

Key requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar environment
  • Good knowledge of hotel reservation systems and IT front office systems
  • Strong commercial awareness of rooms, meetings and events market
  • Solid experience in leadership with the ability to manage and motivate
  • High standard of literacy and numeric skills
  • Confident to conduct sales show rounds and client meetings
  • To provide administration support for all conference and banqueting operations, weddings, themed events, special events and Christmas functions

40 hours.  This is a full time position consisting of early shifts (7-3), late shifts (2.30-11), office hours (9-5.30), weekends and Duty Management.

Head Housekeeper

A fantastic opportunity for a driven individual who is passionate about standards and has a keen eye for detail.  You will take control and responsibility for the smooth and efficient operation of the Housekeeping department.  You will ensure all guests’ facilities are maintained to the standards required and that the department runs smoothly and efficiently in-line with targeted expectations for supplies and staffing.

35 hours.  You will work on a rota basis starting at 8.00am and finishing at 3.30pm with a lunch break inbetween.  Meals and uniform are provided.

Commis Chef

We are looking for a commis chef to join our established team.  Whilst this is a junior role we fully embrace giving you the opportunity to work on all sections of our busy kitchen. 

We operate a range of menus from A’la Carte, bar & lounge, banqueting and private dining. You will be encouraged to contribute ideas and will be supported in any further educational training you may require.   

This is a great opportunity for someone who is serious about food and wanting to enjoy their job.

40 hours.  You will work on a rota basis to include breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Meals and uniform are provided.  Evenings and weekends are a pre-requisite of the role.

Bar Team Members – Casual 

Various shift available, evenings and weekends predominately.  You will be working as part of a team on one/both of our busy bars.  Shifts typically commence at 6.00pm and finish at 11.00pm.  Duties include pre-service preparation, cleaning down tables, serving drinks and food along with clearing down before going off duty.  We really do believe that the customer is ‘king’ and expect you to deliver outstanding customer service.

Restaurant & Banqueting Team Members – Casual 

Various shift available, breakfast, lunch, evenings and weekends. You will be working as part of a team in both our Lakeside Restaurant and banqueting operation (weddings and private functions).  Duties include pre-service preparation, taking food order, serving meals, clearing down tables and re-setting for the next day/shift before going off duty.  We really do believe that the customer is ‘king’ and expect you to deliver outstanding customer service.
